Over 5 years in the making
Our story began in 2017 in a tiny office in Accra, Ghana; just one ambitious entrepreneur and one sales representative in the media industry.
Fast-forward a couple of years, and now we help over 2,000 clients around Africa to promote their best, everywhere their customers are.
Yes, we work with some big names (and we’re very proud of that). But, if we’re honest, they’re very much in the minority; we understand what matters to small businesses because we were a small business, not so long ago.
Over the years, there have been a number of additions to Hype.UP's community. From introducing innovative events such as Hype.Flix Drive-In, Ghana's only premium drive-in theatre to bringing on board more talented, creative and passionate individuals who have contributed greatly to the company's growth and success.
But no matter what each day brings, we never lose sight of what matters: helping businesses to achieve their goals, time and time again.
Hype.UP was born out of the need to create a networked society of brands and individuals in a dynamic but secure and fun atmosphere.

Everyone says they are different. Yes, every company has unique selling points. Yes, every company does things differently and is special in its own way. But, when it comes to processes and business, these are usually similar to one another.
Our core values are what our team lives by. If you meet a Hype.Up team member, they are guaranteed to embody each one of our core values. I believe that a great leader is one that makes everyone around them better. I didn’t want to create the best branding company. I wanted to create the best company with the best people. However, this meant finding kind-hearted and hardworking creative people that all believed in the mission as much as I did. And, I am proud to say I have done that. Our team is made up of some of the best people I’ve ever known. Not only do they work hard and go above and beyond for their clients, but they do it in a way that leaves their clients feeling happy and fulfilled. That’s business done differently.
In everything we do, we need to consider how it impacts the environment, our people, and the communities we live and operate in.
